Interview with a Stirlingite #21

Sara

Hello Stirlingites!
Today we have an interview from ...USA!

Rene
Welcome to our Interview, would you please introduce yourself?
Sara
Hello, I’m Sara but most people know me as @wolfspirit21 or @tuukkathepit on Instagram.
Rene
Which Country are you from?
Sara
I am from USA and currently live in California
Rene
A short introduction about yourself?
Sara
I own a pit bull, who is my world. I love anime, playing video games and reading. My passion is photography.
Rene
When did you learn about Lindsey or started listening to her music?
Sara
I first heard about Lindsey when she was on America’s Got Talent. I was reintroduced to her when Crystallize came out.
Rene
Are you a Stirlingite?
Sara
I am definitely a Stirlingite!
Rene
When did you switch from simply listening to the music to beeing a fan?
Sara
When Crystallize was released, I immediately went through and watched all of Lindsey’s videos. I was instantly hooked and knew right away I needed to share her music with everyone I knew.
Rene
Did you read the book? How did you like it?
Sara
I’ve read her book many times and have listened to the audio book as well. I absolutely love it and found it so inspirational. I knew Lindsey had struggled in her past, but I don’t think any of us knew the extent to it. It was amazing to read about her life.
Rene
Does Lindsey have a special place in your life ?
Sara
Lindsey has definitely saved my life. Her music speaks to my soul on a whole different level than I’ve ever felt before. Whenever I’m going through a tough time and struggling, I always listen to her music and remember different quotes Lindsey has said to help pull me out of the darkness.
Rene
What are your three favorite tracks from Lindsey ?
Sara
This is an extremely tough questions. I would have to say Roundtable Rival, Electric Daisy Violin and Senbonzakura
Rene
Have you been to a concert?
Sara
I’ve been to three concerts so far and hope to attend many more! First one was in Costa Mesa, CA, then in San Diego, CA and lastly was in Los Angeles, CA at the Dolby Theater.
Rene
Have you attended a meet&greet?
Sara
I have attended two meet and greets and also met Lindsey during her book signing tour. I remember being so nervous the first time that I met her that I barely was able to say my name. Everything happened so fast! The second time I was able to get more out and actually carry a conversation with her. I loved every moment of it.
Rene
Did you bring a present?
Sara
I did bring a present for her when I did the meet and greet in San Diego. It was on her 30th birthday. I had created a project earlier in the year where Stirlingites from around the world could submit a letter, edits, fanart, poems, and even tattoos for Lindsey. I compiled all of these submissions into a book that I had made for her. The book ended up being over a 100 pages and came out amazing. We called it “The Many Pirates at Lindsey’s Party.” When I saw Lindsey again, she mentioned how much she loved the book and all the hard work that went into it and that she has it in her room.
Rene
How did you feel when Lindsey was posing with you?
Sara
So happy! In that moment, it literally feels like it’s just her and you and she really does give the best of hugs!
Rene
Three favorites of you!
Sara
I love wolves! My favorite color is blue and my favorite city is Boston since it’s my hometown.
Rene
What music do you listen to if not from Lindsey?
Sara
I listen to all types of music. I love EDM but I also like classical. I mostly just listen to Lindsey though.
Rene
A personal shoutout to Lindsey?
Sara
Thank you Lindsey for continuing to bring me hope every day and saving me from my darkness. You are truly an inspirational person and I’m so glad I’ve gotten the chance to meet you. You are an amazing person. Thank you for always treating your fans with so much love, kindness and generosity.
Rene
Another shoutout to the others of the band&crew?
Sara
To the crew and dancers, thank you for everything you guys do! It truly amazes me how much hard work every one does. You guys are amazing! Drew and Kit, you guys are so amazing as well! Kit, thanks for always taking a selfie with me at every concert I’ve attended and making me feel calmer before meeting Lindsey. Drew, thanks for always sticking by Lindsey’s side. I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing what you do. I still need to get a picture with you one day!
Rene
Do you make Fanart?
Sara
I’ve just started to make edits and hope to do more soon. I mostly post photos from the concerts I’ve gone to.
Rene
How did you feel when you saw yourself in Lindsey’s Brave Enough documentary?
Sara
I was completely shocked. When I went to the concert, I knew they were recording but I didn’t think anything of it at the time. I had no idea I was in the film until Stirlingites in Germany started sending my screenshots of the film, saying I was in it. I quickly started watching the film soon after that. I still can’t believe it and feel so honored.
Rene
Were you nervous to share your personal story with Lindsey?
Sara
I was extremely nervous. I never opened up and told anyone before. Her bravery gave me the courage to though. I wanted her to know that she truly did save my life. Even though only part of my story was shared in the film, I hope others that are struggling can now know that they aren’t alone. What was not shown in the film, was that while I started sharing my story with Lindsey, she was autographing my poster when she stopped mid sign to look at me and give me her full attention. She truly cared what I had to say and even got emotional and gave me a big hug. Lindsey is an amazing and genuine person.
Rene
Thanks Sara for this fantastic interview!Enjoy!

We are brave enough, we are strong! 💪🏼 I wanted to do a pose with Lindsey that represented strength and hope. I told Lindsey my story and now I'm gonna be brave enough to share it with you in hopes that maybe it will help someone else. _ I was going through a very dark time in my life not too long ago. I had given up all hope and didn't see another option but to end it all. I had my preparations done and was preparing myself to end my life when Lindsey's music started playing randomly from my computer. It made me stop in my tracks. Lindsey's music has always been a light in the darkness for me and for it to start playing in that moment, I knew it was a sign. Lindsey and her music literally saved my life and continues to give me strength to this day. She is my hope and I will always hang on to that and continue to fight the darkness off. Thank you for everything @lindseystirling ❤️ If you are struggling as well, find that one thing that makes you want to keep living and latch onto it and never let go. Let it fill you with hope. You are important and stronger than you know. Don't give up and keep fighting my friends. KSLL!
